It's the last day of school, and as everyone knows, I skipped school today. Mom nagged a lot about my new hobby (which is skipping school) and kept telling me about how my attitude could affect my record (what record, I don't know). I don't think she knows that the whole class wasn't coming just now. And I know this because almost all of my classmates are online in Facebook. Really, that is one effective way to stalk some school-skippers.
Yesterday after school Azalea, Ammera, Thanuja and Iskandar spent time together watching this Japanese movie at Azalea's place without me and Sashini joining them. My cousin was at home, so according to Mom, it's rude for us to leave when there's a guest at home. So I couldn't do anything about it, I made this very particular face that Mom knows well and said 'okay fine whatever'. I ended up sleeping the whole evening that day. I think Mom is very satisfied for that she actually has the unstoppable power to control my life.
I'm going to miss school so much. I know everyone hates homework, but there's no place is as fun as school. At least there's no person who can stalk and watch everything you do, and nag as much as she capable of.
And I will definitely miss Azalea and Ammera making Kung Fu sounds and acting Kung Fu actions as if their grandparents were the descendants of Shao Lin Temple Kung Fu fighters. This is no logic at all as Ammera's grandparents are both Indians and Malays.
And the truth is, I prefer listening to Thanuja's nags rather than listening to Mom's as Thanuja is so pretty that I can't help being jealous and wishing I have her face as mine when she nags. She still looks beautiful even when she nags everything to Sashi.
And as for Sashi, there's no other comfort shoulder to cry on other than Sashi's. I told everything to her and at home, I don't think I have the guts to tell everything to Mom. She might give me a long lecture before I could even finish my story.
Still, I love you Mom but I think you should know this - everyone likes Kung Fu fighting and that includes me.
