I'm a Small Town Hippie

Shocking confessions;

1. I have never worn Cotton On products. Ever.

2. Forever 21 is just too classy and stylish for me.

3. My monthly allowance is only around 100 bucks.

There you have it. So stop asking me where did I buy my clothes and what brands do I wear. I am perfectly conscious that I came from a modest family so why the heck do I need to buy branded clothes? Imagine me going out with my family when I’m the only one who wears Cotton On animal printed t-shirt while Mum wears a dress she bought at Jaya Jusco. And imagine how ironic it will be. See, what is the point of buying a limited edition cardigan from Cotton On when you can just buy a slightly same garment at ROMP? Get my point now? Why waste while you can save? So don’t ask me where I bought my t-shirts. The truth is, I’m a random buyer. I buy everything that catches my eyes which suits my budget. OH YEAH I’M STINGY because obviously I’m so broke.

And oh, curse all those fashion people that turn Sunway Pyramid into some girly store. Like seriously, I couldn’t find any awesome t-shirts or cool jeans or moderate yet stylish outfits. Sunway Pyramid is now full of dresses, you know, the kind that Korean artists usually wear. Okay, so maybe I’m the one who is left behind but come on, skirts and dresses? Gone were the days where you could just pull up your stained jeans and wear some catchy t-shirt with a hoodie not to mention cool Converse sneakers and still look great in them.

While you girls are busy fixing up your skirts, I think I’m satisfied enough to just stare at my classic-ancient-never washed Nike.
