Not Awesome Enough

Random things I discovered about myself and my surroundings during this school hols

1. I discovered that I cannot wake up from sleep by myself. My phone alarm clock doesn't help much. Mom is the only one who can scream at the top of her lungs and hence, wake me up from my deep sleep. Tidur mati. Which is why I always overslept during school holidays.

2. I discovered that Aini is a really cool gamer. She practically knows how to play every game created in the whole word. And she kicks my ass off every time we play Tekken. Or Pacman.

3. I discovered that Jijah is very passionate towards 'arts'. She draws not-so-important stuff like frequently during this school hols. And I don't even know what's her point in her every artwork, but you know what they say, everything in this world is art. (including those stupid patches she drew in her notebook)

4. I also discovered that my grandfather is an amusing chatterbox though he lost most of his teeth as he gets older and frankly, I don't really understand his language. Not that he's a foreigner or speaks weird stuff, but you know how old folks talk, they have this one universal language which is only understandable by their kinds. To me in some ways he's kinda awesome.

5. I discovered that my grandmother is actually 70+ years old. Her age has always kept shut as a secret, but last week when she was sick, she told like almost everything to Mom. (and I was eavesdropping)

6. I discovered that I love my cousin, Sara just the way I love my two sisters.

7. I discovered that I can actually swear in Javanese! Pretty cool huh? I hope that someday I'll be able to swear in French as well. I know I'll sound sexy. And quite exotic.

8. I discovered that my highest dream is to get a place in Harvard. The Social Network influenced me well and based on my observations, I think Harvard's the coolest place for me to further my studies. (and yes, I discovered this right after I watched the film with Alea, Ammera and Shamin)

9. I discovered that my latest celebrity crush is EMINEM. I don't exactly know why, but last week I saw his video with Rihanna and later I youtubed him and instantly fell in love with him. I think he's hot, original and spontaneous. I soon realized that he's actually the best rapper ever.

10. And Mitch Albom is the best writer/author I have ever discovered. 'Tuesdays With Morrie' is totally my favorite and it has been the best-selling novel throughout the decade. Everyone should read this, it is highly recommended.


I observed a lot during this school hols, didn't I? And oh, I also discovered that I'm not awesome enough. Maybe I should change my blog tittle.
