I really need to sort out my priorities

Recently I have been indulging myself with romantic Dramione fan fictions, thank you very much. To every Potterheads, I assume the term 'Dramione' must have sounded common, so I wonder, do I need to explain more? No? Thank you.

I have always loved the idea of uniting these two main characters, Draco and Hermione. Although they contrasted each other very sharply but for a muggle born to marry a pureblood is not impossible, isn't it? Forbidden, but possible. Also, I found that they had so much in common, (apart from their blood heritage, of course). But they shared the same passion in studies, they were loyal to their parties, they knew where they stood and the important part is that they hated each other's gut so much. Sounds a like romantic love story to you yet?

They could have been together if the war didn't occur. They could have been together if Draco was given a chance to approach her, (unlikely, since Harry and Ron were always around). They could have been together, there were so many possibilities. And by reading those fan fictions, I know I'm not the only who's dying for a better Dramione closure. Imagine if they did get married and had children, half blood children, they could be as intelligent as Snape, as well as Harry. They could have produced such great witches and wizards, I mean hey, the Dark Wizard was a half blood monster, that one, remember? And oh imagine if Hermione was finally one of the high class society members, she would definitely oppose the ancient idea of house elves slavery. The world could have been a better place, the racial issues of blood status would no longer be a culture, the purebloods would mellow down a bit, knowing that they couldn't say a thing against Hermione Malfoy. (Hermione Malfoy does sound powerful, isn't it?)

Okay, so - I think it's my habit to over imagine things.

As much as we love to see Draco and Hermione ended up together, we must also respect our prime author, J.K Rowling for I know, we all know, that whatever was written in the books was the best she could give. And to think about it, poor Ron for not having a bride if Hermione was married to Draco. Nak suruh dia kahwin dgn Lavender? Yek. And interracial marriage, (I mean interblood marriage?) is not as easy as it seems, you know. Even in reality for someone who isn't embracing the same faith as I am is very unlikely to be my husband. Not forbidden, not impossible either, but complicated. (And imagine how Bellatrix could torture Hermione to death for being the only mudblood Malfoy bride). So, things were easier for Hermione and Ron to end up living as a married couple together. I mean, hey, the Weasleys were nice and friendly and warm, even though they were also one of the most ancient pureblood wizarding families. Hermione had nothing to lose.

So until then, until Jo hasn't decided to twist the plot a lil bit by making Ron to divorce Hermione in another sequel and hence making way for Hermione to marry another man, which is, to everyone's anticipation, Draco Malfoy himself, we have to hold on tight to the original story and. .

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a bunch of boys to be given support to and a country to be given devotion to. Malam ni Malaysia lawan Bahrain. Go team Malaysia! :D
