The thing that orang Selangor will never experience is that the ability of every individual of the community to speak one standard language FLUENTLY. In Sarawak (or in UiTM Samarahan to be more accurate, since I have never been to every nook and crook of Sarawak), even though there a lot of races here (in fact the people here are more multi racial than Selangor herself), they can all speak bahasa standard Melayu Kuching fluently. Sometimes as an outsider you will find it hard to distinguish if a person is a Malay, or a Melanau, or an Iban etc. Of course at times they speak the language of their mother's tongue too when they're communicating among themselves, but bila cakap Melayu sumpah fluent gila. (Kat Selangor? Hmph). 1Malaysia my friend, you will feel the 1Malaysia-ness here.
