Look what modernization has done to my sister

My younger sister has a blog. A childish one. I don't blame her. She's only twelve. But the thing about her that really bugs me is that, UPSR is only in 3 weeks time, but she seems like she can't live a single day without updating anything on the net. She updates at least 4 or 5 status on Facebook, she posts tons of pictures on Tumblr, and not to mention, spill her heart out every day on her blog. What a girl. I think she really misunderstands the concept of having a blog and having a diary. SHE SPILLS EVERYTHING IN HER BLOG! And her friends seem to enjoy her 'openness' regarding personal stuff like what I had just told her minutes before she updated a post. Her friends too, all of them do have their own blogs (yes, at the tender age of 12 ._.) and they are enjoying the attention from each other - remarks about how their blogs look cute and how this boy or this boy actually likes my sister too.

Ah, reminds me of the good ol' days. (But no, I didn't have a blog at such young age)

If my adik happens to read this, I want her to know that all those time spent on childish posts - especially on your blog, are not worth anything. Really. The boy won't read your blog, dik. Boys HATE to read. If a boy reads, there must be something wrong with his Y chromosome. Trust me, I just scored an A- for Bio, last monthly test. (Topik dia pasal reproduction & genetic stuff. Ya, no wonder aku dapat A)

Nanti bila dah matang macam kami yang berusia 17 tahun ni, bila membaca semula apa yang telah di post kan, adik-adik semua akan tergelak sambil berkata 'I, WAS AN IDIOT'

Malu tau. Kepada diri sendiri. Apabila terbaca semula kenaifan kita semasa kecil.

So yesterday I decided to read my sister's blog. Thorougly. In front of her. 20% gaya bahasanya mcm rempit. 80% mcm budak yang bertamadun (mestilah, adik Hajar kan). Tahap kejiwangan, dari 1 ke 10. Hm, 7.

Tahap kelawakan, 10.

Aku gelak sungguh-sungguh semalam. Adik aku sampai nangis. Kesian dia. Tetapi. She has no right to stop me from reading her blog. Her blog is for public viewing. You can't hide anything once it's on the net. Kalau nak private, guna diari la dik. Tu aku kata, dia tak reti beza apa itu diari, apa itu blog.

Kata orang. Padahal. Huh, kakak borek, adik rintik.

p.s I'm sorry dik, btw your chocolate brownie was quite good. I acted like I dislike it. Don't worry, every big sister does that.
