Serenity

Hello people. Today is the first day of Ramadan of this year. The school session was rescheduled to a shorter period, which really pleases me. We were supposed to go back home around 1315, but thanks to the Holy month, we now are allowed to go home earlier, around 1230. I guess this news don't really excite you because, lah biasalah semua sekolah balik awal time bulan puasa. But somehow I find going home earlier than usual is very convenient to me. Usually I'll be home approximately at 1400. Yes, it takes more than half an hour for me to reach home even though my school is just 2 km away, but well, I blame the lame public transportation provided for school kids here. But today, I actually arrived home around 1300!

I had more time to spend in the bathroom, I had more time to stare the mirror after taking bath, I had more time to dry my hair, I had more time to wear my clothes, I had more time to snuggle and read my novel that I'm currently reading, I had more time to watch television, and of course, I had more time to spend on my evening nap! And I actually woke up, to find that it was only 1530 in the evening! (I really thought I slept like a dead woman). Hence I had more time to spend on my homework. And did I mention I had extra minutes to surf the net? How good can life be?

I think in Ramadan the time seems to fly slower maybe because He is giving us chances, don't you think so?
