1. When I lie beside my two sisters on lonely nights and have every kind of conversation any sisters in the world could have, that is when I feel pleasured. When my sisters embraced me after every fall down I went through, that was when I knew they were the best things God bestowed me. When they laugh upon my taste of liking in boys, I smile because I know I'm experiencing one of the life's priceless pleasures. I feel most valued and because of them I get to appreciate my existence in this world. Simply to be called by them 'Kak Ja', is one of the pleasures of my life.
2. When my family sit around the same table having tea together on a windy evening, that is when I feel the serenity of pleasure. When my mothers gets irritated by my father's lame jokes or when my siblings fight over the last kueh or ayam goreng, those times are when I feel the luckiest. To see my mother smiles makes me feel like all the contentment in the world is presented to me. To see my father laughs makes me feel like every happiness is in my possession. To have light chit chat about everything from boys to politics with Ayah makes me feel vibrant and brilliant. To watch Masterchef with my mother makes me feel like I'm a better daughter hence a better person. To simply be in this family is one of the pleasures of my life.
3. When my best friend Azalea drives me down town, I know I'm the happiest girl in the world. That I may not have the prettiest clothes nor all things brand new, but I have the shiniest friends with the most beautiful souls on earth. That I may not have enough money to be spent later on, but I know I have the best persons in the world to spend time with. That I don't have a handsome boyfriend wrapped around my arm, but wonderful souls wrapped around my heart instead. That I always feel the warmest with them. That time spent with them is always the time I smile until my cheek bones hurt. That every second is joy and happiness. That every minute is filled with laughter. To have them as my best friends, is one of the pleasures of my life.
4. When you smile and laugh simultaneously, I know I have watched the most beautiful thing God has ever created. And the fact that you don't even know how shining you are to my eyes fascinate the hell out of me. The fact that your simple presence brings the best vibe out of me impresses me. That no one has ever done that before and there you are, doing blessed things you don't even realize. That if I were made to choose between your smile and a handsome apartment in New York, you know I would have always chose you. Over anything really. That to simply know you is one of the pleasures of my life.
